Why Barnet is perfectly placed for airport runs
Barnet has always been a place people passed through on the way somewhere else. It began as a coaching stop on the Great North Road, and today the M25 at South Mimms is only a few minutes north of the High Street. For airport travel that is a real advantage: while cabs from central London queue through the city, a Barnet airport transfer is on the motorway almost straight away.
