A village with an ancient yew
Totteridge runs along a ridge between Whetstone and Mill Hill, with Totteridge Green and Totteridge Common at its heart. In the churchyard of St Andrew's stands a yew tree thought to be around 2,000 years old, one of the oldest living things in London. Much of the village is a conservation area, and it still feels a world away from the High Road half a mile down the hill.

Buses are few along Totteridge Lane and the Common, and many houses sit behind gates or at the end of long drives. Our drivers come to your door, not the end of the road. Tell us about gates or the best entrance when you book, and we'll keep a note for next time.
Fields, lakes and golf
Totteridge Fields and Darlands Lake are two of the area's nature reserves, and South Herts Golf Club sits on the Totteridge side of the valley. We collect from the clubhouse and from the lanes by the reserves, which is handy if you've walked out one way and want a lift back.
Business travel and airports
Our executive cars are a popular choice here, for client meetings in the City or long-haul flights from Heathrow. Heading west through Mill Hill puts you on the M1 quickly, so Luton is often only 30 to 40 minutes away.
